I spent some time today with a friend who really appreciates when I share something with her that she doesn't know. Whether it's a cooking tip, health info, or fashion bit (ok, so I don't usually have any of those), she is interested in what I have to say. How refreshing!
I love sharing what I know and learning new things, too. What unique tidbit will you share?
Okay Chelsie, I got one for you. Something maybe you can teach me? I am struggling with Sunday lunch. What to make? What is quick? What can I prepare in the morning and have ready by lunch?
ReplyDeleteWhat makes it hard is the mornings that Aaron has to leave early to do set up. It's hard for me to get myself out of the house with all three kids and have something in the crock pot for lunch. This past Sunday I had some time to get soup in the crock pot but I put it on low and it wasn't ready for lunch, but at least it was for dinner. Aaron leaves early and then gets back home around 2:00, so we don't get lunch with him either. I guess it's just a sacrifice for all of us.
So, anyway....have any ideas?
hmmm, woulda said crockpot. on high?
ReplyDeleteI like tacos in a pinch cuz I almost always have everything I need. If you think ahead, take hamburger out of the freezer Saturday night. If not, toss it in the microwave.
or...leftovers. :)
OK, I don't have any good ideas. Sorry.
Maybe an egg dish? Mix it all up in a bowl before hand and then put it all into a 9x13 and bake until done. I often just use what I have. At least 6 eggs, cheese, veggies, dijion mustard, sausage or bacon, and a little bisquick or pancake mix. I know this is technically bruch, but its Sunday right?
